Environmental Events and Fun in the Square

Do you want to know more about environmental issues? Then come to The library quadrant of the Square on Saturday 22nd May. There will be electric bikes to test ride, demonstrations on making your own household cleaners, household energy efficient solutions, vegetable garden, compost bins and worm farms, arts, local environmental groups and even hot home made soup.
Plus PNCC new recycling truck and the Green Rig. Every half hour there will be a captivating and informative talk on topics such as making your own green household products (Janice Feyen), Bokashi/liquid fertiliser (Dave Johnson), Zero Waste: What’s hot and what not about zero (Jonathon Hannon), Manawatu Mufflers: exhaust emissions etc (Colin Farrington) and St Peters community garden (Max Merrel)
